Meet Dr. Jacqueline Dimatelis

The journey began post matriculation with a BSc degree, majoring in psychology and physiology, followed by an Honours degree in psychology from Stellenbosch University. After gaining valuable experience in the UK as a carer in psychiatric units, Dr. Dimatelis expanded her academic portfolio with an MSc degree and a subsequent PhD in neuroscience.

Her academic path then led her to a 4-year postdoctoral fellowship and a position as a research officer at UCT's neuroscience laboratory. During this period, she also lectured third-year medical students, fueling her aspiration to practice medicine, culminating in the completion of a MBChB at UCT. She honed her medical expertise through a two-year internship and a year of community service in South African hospitals.

Dr. Dimatelis's foray into aesthetics is borne out of a life-long affinity for beauty and wellness. Trained by leading figures in advanced aesthetic procedures, her repertoire includes neurotoxin injections, dermal fillers, thread lifting, mesotherapy, and sclerotherapy. She is currently advancing her expertise with an advanced diploma in aesthetic medicine, aligning with her philosophy of lifelong learning.

In her practice in Oude Westhof, Dr. Dimatelis ensures that every patient's treatment plan is a personal journey, meticulously crafted to highlight and enhance their natural beauty.

Beyond her professional life, Jacqueline is happily married, with her surname reflecting her Greek ties through her husband of 14 years. She remains true to her Afrikaans roots, a 'boere meisie' who enjoys the companionship of her two French bulldogs, Chovie and Herbie. Her life is enriched by the joy of social coffee gatherings, family, and the thrill of exploring the world.
